Breaking up is very difficult to do, especially if the break up was unexpected. Sometimes you have no control over a break up. All you can do is accept it and move on.

However, accepting a breakup and moving on is much easier said than done. Change is never easy, even when it’s a welcome change and seldom is breaking up considered a welcome change. It is possible to accept a break up and move on once you set your mind to it.

When your break up is new, you’re going to feel depressed and not want to do much socializing. This is perfectly normal. You’ve lost someone that was an important part of your life and you can’t expect to bounce back immediately, regardless of what some people may tell you.
